“Have you ever been to Arlington Cemetery? Go look at the graves of the brave patriots who died defending America – you will see all faiths, genders, and ethnicities.”
Khizr Kahn ~ Father of Muslim American Soldier Slain In Iraq
My wife and I are blessed to be able to travel this grand country of ours far and wide in search of photographic opportunities and the energy those spaces and places bring.
Invariably when we are on the road we find ourselves at national cemeteries.
Palpable : solemn, sacred hallowed ground.
Khizr Kahn got it right :
“Go look at the graves of the brave patriots who died defending America – you will see all faiths, genders, and ethnicities.”
St Bernard Parish / Chalmette LA National Cemetery
Thank you Khizr Kahn
